Poetry & Tuba Press
'the night sky is tingling with our words.'
I have published two books of poetry, 'Hope & Other Animals' (2016), 'The Bindings' (2018). I am a partner in Tuba Press; we seek out distinctive voices to encourage adventures in poetry. I pilfered the Joycean strategies of 'silence, cunning and exile' to take a long road into publication. Now, I am engaged with the ideas of cajoling sounds, stalking image and corruption of rhymes that I fashion into walking words.
Poetry & Participation
This poem featured in 'My One & All: My Swansea Coast' (2017), National Trust book. I love involving people with poetry in workshops, pop-up sessions, events and creative conversations. My project, 'Th'Other: Together' in Ballygar is part of Galway 2020 EU City of Culture.
Professional Services
I have led the organisation and fundraising of community based initiatives in Ireland and the UK. Notable is the Parc Taf Bargoed award winning multi million pound land restoration scheme. Currently, I am developing a disabled access trail and eco-cultural study with Ballygar Tidy Towns with funds I secured from EU LEADER. I specialise in community participation, fundraising and project management.
